Classification of compressors

The compressor is the core equipment in the refrigeration system. Only by converting electrical energy into mechanical work and compressing the low-temperature 

and low-pressure gaseous refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gas can the refrigeration cycle be guaranteed. 

Compressors can be divided into: positive displacement refrigeration compressors and centrifugal refrigeration compressors

Positive displacement compressor: By changing the volume of the working chamber, the periodic suction of the quantitative gas is compressed.

A. Reciprocating piston refrigeration compressor: The working volume of the cylinder is changed by the reciprocating motion of the piston.

B. Rotary refrigeration compressor: The working volume of the cylinder is changed by the rotary motion of the rotary body.

  Scroll type: The cooling capacity is 8~150KW, which can be used in various air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It is fully enclosed, with simple and compact structure, high performance, good sealing and low noise, and will be the leading model in the future.

  Screw type: The cooling capacity is 100-1200KW, which can be used in large and medium-sized air conditioners and refrigeration equipment. It is semi-closed, with 

compact structure, high working performance, large cooling capacity and stepless adjustment, but the lubricating oil system is more complicated and the noise is high. Divided into single and twin screw type.

Centrifugal refrigeration compressor: relying on centrifugal force to continuously compress the inhaled gas. The maximum cooling capacity can reach 30000KW, which

 is used in large air conditioners and refrigeration equipment. Stable work, high performance, long life, large cooling capacity, and stepless adjustment.
