Roll-Bond evaporator is a heat exchanger, which is mainly used in refrigerators and freezers. Its primary function is to remove the heat from the air inside of the fridge or the freezer. Roll-Bond evaporators provide the best results (among competing technologies) in term of energy consumption of the refrigerators. They are mainly used for refrigerator and wine coolers.
The working principle of the evaporator is allow the refrigerant to evaporate and absorb heat, thereby taking away the heat of the air near the evaporator. The fan blower then blows out the air that has been absorbed with heat, which becomes cold air.
By continuously circulating refrigerant through the evaporator, the refrigerator can maintain a consistent low temperature in the storage room, keeping food fresh and cool. The evaporator is an integral part of the refrigeration system and allows the refrigerator to work efficiently.
