A copper evaporator coil is a heat exchanger, so is a condenser coil. We have two coils in a heat exchange system: an evaporator (which removes heat from a room) and a condenser (which blows the heat drawn from the room outside). So, just like in your house, the evaporator is sitting in a plenum above your furnace on the inside, and the condenser is the unit outside.So evaporators have a big wide range application,for example,cooling hydraulic fluid, Caterpillar tractors, swamp coolers, air handlers, water cooling systems and hot water heaters. l Heat Recovery
Heat recovery evaporators are made to pump seawater or other liquid feed sources into a chamber in the base of the evaporator. Once pumped, the liquid then submerges a heat exchanger and the low-temperature boiling begins. As the steam vapor rises, it contacts a cold condenser tube bundle and condenses it back to a liquid. Then, the distillate is collected and is pumped into a clean water holding tank.
