Why do you need a run capacitor?

Capacitors are devices for storing charges. Capacitors are the basic components of electronics, and it is well known that there are many different applications. The most common uses of capacitors are energy storage. Capacitors also include start capacitors, running capacitors. Other uses include power regulation, signal coupling or decoupling, electronic noise filtering and remote sensing.

Capacitor is a commonly used component in physics. It is not just an air conditioner. Capacitors are used in many appliances. Capacitor, as its name implies, is a capacitor, a container for storing electric charge. It also has two poles. Similar to a battery, a capacitor generally works by storing electric charge on an electrode to store electrical energy. Usually, the capacitor is used together with the inductor. Thereby, an LC oscillation circuit can be formed.

There are many types of capacitors, and different types of capacitors have different functions. In the central air conditioning system, electrolytic capacitors are often used as the filter components in the control circuit, and non-polar capacitors are connected in series in the windings of the compressor (single-phase asynchronous) motor, so that when the motor starting winding is started, the current leads the operation beyond the start-up. The current is at a phase angle to obtain the starting torque, making the motor easy to start.

The capacitance in the air conditioner plays a vital role, directly affecting whether the entire air conditioner can be turned on. If the capacitor is damaged, the compressor in the air conditioner will not start and the air conditioner will not start.

Capacitor is a key component of the start-up of an air conditioner motor. Most of the air-conditioning capacitors are activated and run at the same time. Capacitor damage will cause the compressor to fail to start or start up for a period of time. If the motor does not rotate after power-on, we must first check the capacitance and check whether the capacitor is good or bad. It can be directly measured by the pointer multimeter ohm file. If the pointer of the multimeter is deflected and returned to a certain value, the capacitor is good. If the pointer is directly zero or infinity, it means that there is a problem with the capacitor. Remove the bad one directly, then buy a new capacitor of the same model and replace it.The capacitor is aging, and the capacity attenuation is more than 5% of the original standard capacity.

When the aging capacity of the air conditioner compressor is attenuated, the compressor running current value becomes larger, the compressor is abnormally hot, and the overheat protection shutdown occurs.

When the fan motor capacitor ages and the capacity attenuation is large, the circulating air volume of the air conditioner fan motor becomes smaller, and the air conditioning effect becomes worse. In some relatively bad weather, the air conditioning system will have a protective shutdown.
